Daphne Levanti

Head of the Film Project Assessment, Evaluation and Approval

Daphne is currently serving as the Head of the Film Project Assessment, Evaluation and Approval Unit of the General Directorate of Greek Film of the Hellenic Film and Audiovisual Center. She is responsible for overseeing the implementation of all evaluation, approval, and contracting procedures for film project applications under the selective support programs. She also manages the register of evaluators/readers for these programs.

Previously, she served as an Advisor to the President and CEO of the National Center for Audiovisual Media & Communication, where she contributed to decision-making processes related to the development, enhancement, and protection of the Greek audiovisual and creative sectors. In this role, she liaised with company executives, external partners, and stakeholders to resolve issues and to plan, organize, and coordinate collaborations and partnerships.

Earlier in her career, Daphne was Deputy Director of the National School of Public Administration (ESDDA) at the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government. Since 2012, she also held the position of Research and Studies Officer in the Department of General Public Administration within the same School.

She graduated from the Department of General Administration of ESSDA, holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource & Knowledge Management from Lancaster  University (UK) and a degree in Organization and Business Administration from the University of Piraeus.

Daphne is also an instructor for civil servants specializing in topics such as leadership, motivation, communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and negotiation, using adult education methodologies. She has participated in relevant conferences and workshops and has also attended multiple training programs, conferences and workshops in areas relevant to her professional responsibilities and interests. Additionally, she has been a contributing member of various working groups and committees, particularly those focused on administrative reform and public sector improvement.
