Chara Lianou is a multidisciplinary professional integrating artistic vision with a scientific lens shaped by a background in Biology.

Trained in theatre and film in Greece and abroad, she has performed in stage productions, films, and TV series, and voiced animated characters for international platforms. As a director, she has created a short film and several multilingual theatre productions.

She is a native speaker of both English and Greek with a working proficiency in French and Spanish.

With her work at the Hellenic Film Commission, she supports local and international filmmakers and production teams in effectively executing projects in Greece, focusing on audiovisual production facilitation and screen industry development, bridging creative and logistical needs and contributing to the growth of the country’s a/v industry on a global scale.
