Thierry’s wife Claire wants to leave him. In a desperate effort to save his marriage Thierry ropes in Claire and the two grown-up children to spend a vacation in Greece exactly as they did on a legendary trip 30 years ago. With more than five weeks of shooting, the film by François Uzan was filmed in Athens, at Charakas beach, along the Attica Riviera and in Aegina Island.
