Anna Kasimati is the Head of the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme at the Hellenic Film and Audiovisual Center (HFAC). She coordinates initiatives that support the development, production, and international promotion of Greek and European audiovisual works, aiming to strengthen creativity, visibility, and professional capacity within the Greek audiovisual sector.

She holds a BA and MA in Communication and Cultural Management, specializing in cultural policy and the strategic development of creative organizations. Her professional background includes the management of EU co-financed NSRF programmes and collaboration with European institutions and networks on audiovisual policy, creative industries, and digital transformation. Her work focuses on linking cinema with emerging technologies and fostering cooperation among European professionals and organizations.

She is a member of EFAD (European Film Agency Directors Association) and EFARN (European Film Agency Research Network), and serves as Executive Secretary of the SEE Cinema Network, contributing to regional collaboration and the international visibility of Southeast European cinema.
