Antigone Makrygianni holds a degree from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the University of Athens, with postgraduate studies at the College of Europe (Bruges) and the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Athens on European integration issues.

With previous experience in various positions of responsibility in Greece and abroad, she has been extensively involved in the formulation of public governance policies, the strengthening of the institutional and administrative capacity of the public sector, structural reforms and change management at the organizational and operational level, and the design and implementation of co-funded projects.

She has extensive experience in human resource management and financial tools and as a trainer targeting executives in central public administration and local government in Greece and abroad.

Her fluency in English, French, and Spanish allows her to keep abreast of developments in her fields of expertise and to represent national positions effectively in the international and European arena.
