Ioannis Papadopoulos has been professionally active in the field of Information Technology since 1989. He has served as an instructor at a private education center. programmer–analyst, software development lead, and account manager in major private sector companies. He has worked on projects related to telemedicine, web portals, e-commerce, business intelligence, e-learning, mobile value-added services & portals, and adult education, as well as on Greek and European research projects.
Since 2007, he has been working in the public sector, focusing on the development and management of information systems and digital services. Since 2020, he has been a member of the National Centre of Audiovisual Media and Communication (EKOME) and, following its merger with the Greek Film Centre, of the newly established Hellenic Film & Audiovisual Center (EKKOMED).
He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Crete and a Master’s degree in Parallel and Distributed Systems from Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London.
