When East Meets West 2027 is hosting 8 Inspirational Labs in Trieste, Italy. This is a dynamic initiative aimed at training producers from various stages of their professional journey. EKKOMED, for the fourth consecutive year, supports the participation of Greek producers in the labs by collaborating directly with the organizers. The labs will take place from January 17 to 19, 2027, giving participants the chance to get trained in areas like series production (both fiction and documentary), animation production, co-production, development of genre film projects, successful collaboration with private investors, and more. Production companies/producers based in Greece can apply for up to three different labs (with the right to participate in one). The selection of participants is made by the organizers. Participation and accommodation costs are covered.

Applications are accepted until 30/10/2026 by filling out the online form here: Trieste WEMW 2027
