EKKOMED announces that the application submission platform for Cash Rebate Greece 2026 will open for new submissions on Tuesday, April 28 at 10:00 a.m.
ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES:
Under the CRGR-FTV scheme for 2026, a total of €88,000,000 will be allocated. The distribution across Actions, in relation to categories of audiovisual works and eligible beneficiaries, is included in Joint Ministerial Decision No. 164085 (Government Gazette B’ 2205/20.04.2026).
Under the CRGR-Animate & AR/VR scheme, launching in 2026, €10,000,000 will be allocated until the amount is exhausted.
In parallel, an amount of €2,000,000 will be allocated to support the development and production of digital games (Video Games – VGD). This funding instrument is expected to be activated shortly, with a relevant announcement to follow.
The total available public expenditure for 2026 amounts to €100,000,000, strengthening the development of the audiovisual industry, the creative economy, and the country’s international competitiveness.
Interested parties are invited to prepare their application files, taking into account the applicable institutional framework, as reflected in the following Joint Ministerial Decisions:

Finally, it is noted that already from the first quarter of 2026, total disbursements by E.K.K.O.ME.D. have exceeded €300,000,000, with detailed data available at the Observatory (Statistics–Data) section on the organization’s website.
